GST implementation : MODUS was engaged by a large System Integrator for industry level GST implementation for a public sector bank of India well known as Punjab National Bank(During 2017), covering implementation, customization and data migration to collect GST charges as per Govt. regulations with existing Core Banking System(Finacle 7x).
A complete GST implementation, parameter set-ups, including customization for automating the GST collection for different types and modes of transactions.
Iimplementation was done by following the complete functionality as per Govt. regulations within expected time of delivery & quality provided with support.
UAT mock runs to ensure the stability before moving to production.
GST charge/tax collection was automated wherever necessary without disturbing product functionality and the Govt. regulations.
Also, maintaining tax related payment history with new transaction types were a challenge to maintain for multiple type of transactions.
Enhancements delivered as per client requirement & timeliness.
All customizations were completed in very short period in order to ensure bank has enough time to perform complete testing in all aspects before moving to production to avoid last minute rush.
Post production support was provided until bank ensures the stability.
